Try The Neurological - Muscle - Mind (NMM) Exercise:

  • To ‘look good naked’ involves discipline and specific skills, and you need to create a Vivid Visual Image of how you want to look when you close your eyes.
  • Before you start the programme close your eyes and create/design the actual sights, sounds, atmosphere and clear (vivid) images of how YOU want to look (or possibly how you used to look and want to be again) with your new body.
  • The NMM approach involves visualising each body part, trained to perfection, tanned lean and muscular.
  • You will need to train your mind for the next month by taking a few minutes at different points of the day to picture yourself with an incredibly, lean, sexy body possibly like the movie starts or fitness models we see all the time.

Using the NMM/VVI technique try to visualise yourself from head to toe as you wish to look. Make sure that it is YOU in the picture.


Attaining VVI

VVI is quite simple to attain and takes you to an almost self hypnotic state, it is vital that you have total belief in this process working and that you continually work at it. It might take a few practices to fully experience a ‘clear mind’ but it will come. Once you develop the technique to achieve this state it will become an essential tool for improving your life.

Perform this exercise in the morning, during a quiet moment in the daytime and again last thing at night in bed. The night session is key as you will go to sleep on a ‘post hypnotic suggestion’ which will nourish the mind.

Stare at the ceiling, looking just above you so that your eyes strain very slightly, then tell yourself (in your head) that your eyelids are becoming heavy and will be fully closed in 5 seconds (you will be amazed how you can obey this command). The key is to completely clear your mind then visualise yourself with that body of your dreams. You can also give yourself specific suggestions whilst in this state on how you will achieve your goals such as; I will take my training to another level or I will resist all sweet foods or no more alcohol during weekdays. The list is endless you could even add other suggestions that might include improving your self confidence.

Remember these points

  • There is a lot of information out there if you look for it, some of it good, some of it bad. The problem lies with what information to use. Always look to reliable sources for information.
  • Don’t jump from one fad diet to another. Always stick to your plan or your body will never recognise what is going on and just store more fat. Just stick to clean, natural, unprocessed foods and your body will thank you for it.
  • Persevere with your plan even when you get frustrated that you are not seeing results. Again stick to your plan and the results will come.
  • I wholly believe that your strength of mind is the single most important factor and vital in order for you to achieve your fat loss goals. Stay disciplined and strong and the results will come.
